2009 is the real Desjoyeaux's year! The famous sailor, Mich Desj has been honoured for his achievement on the le Vendée Globe 2008-2009. For the third time, after 2001 and 2007, he was elected « Sailor of the year 2009 », last monday night during the traditional Champions Party organized in Paris by the French Sailing Federation. Among his competitors, there were Pascal Bidégorry, skipper and recordman of Northern Atlantic, Antoine Albeau, slalom world champion and the French young team « Les Bleuets », ISAP world champion.
After Francis Joyon in 2008, for sure, « Mister » Desjoyeaux continues to surprise us on the seas around the globe.
